If someone tells you something they think is true — but it turns out to be false — they were mistaken. If someone tells you something they know to be false — but says it anyway — they are a liar. People generally lie for two main reasons: to avoid harm or to gain something for themselves. Why would Trump lie? You can do the math. He is a proven liar and a fraud. A con man. And you already know what he did to prevent the peaceful transfer of the presidency when he lost the 2020 election.
If you think he was motivated then, imagine what he will be willing to do to gain the presidency now. With all the legal problems assailing him the answer to his harm avoidance/personal gain scheme is to become president, by any means necessary. We know he will lie, cheat and commit fraud to get what he wants. He has done those things repeatedly. And he already has plans to put his loyalists in place throughout government to do his bidding that many refused to do in the past because it was breaking the law. He is completely unfit for office.
