Letter: Kudos to library trustees

I am sure I am one of many who was appalled by The Columbian’s story on the people who are spending so much time ruining the library board of trustees meetings over three drag queen story hours from 2019. I’m sorry there haven’t been more, but after reading the story I understand why.

Aside from the fact that drag queen story hours are a lot of fun and don’t hurt kids in the least, it’s been three years … c’mon, people, move on.

Maybe Gary Wilson and his group need to make a New Year’s resolution to find something productive to use up their spare time; may I suggest knitting? Our area doesn’t need your brand of hate and hostility.

My kudos to the trustees who have continued to do their jobs under such trying circumstances.
