EVERGREEN HIGHWAY — On Oct. 17, eight local Tiger Den Cub Scouts from Pack 310 arrived at the Jane Weber Evergreen Arboretum ready to get their hands dirty, plant some flowers for their community and earn some new badges. Tiger Cub Scouts are first-graders. Each scout showed up with their families and a chrysanthemum, along with gloves and tools. They also planted donated mums and pansies. After the planting, a little raking, a fun tour and a photo op, everyone was treated to juice and cookies.
