Letter: Opportunity for Ridgefield

By Bill Baumann, Ridgefield
Published: January 24, 2020, 6:00am

I grew up in a small but growing town in Wisconsin more than 50 years ago. The adults there believed in education and were willing to pay for it.

As a result, I attended a new elementary school as well as a new middle school. I’m grateful to those folks for supporting the bonds that built those new schools. I believe my education was greatly enhanced as a result.

I now have a chance to provide the same opportunity for young people in Ridgefield. I am happy to be able to pay it forward. Please support the Ridgefield school bond.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
