Boys basketball: Camas 57, Skyview 56

Jackson Clemmer was fouled with 1.8 seconds left and made one of his two free throws to lift the Camas boys basketball team to a win over Skyiew in a 4A Greater St. Helens League game Friday.

Kyle Gruhler tied the game at 56-56 with a running floater with 24 seconds left. He led the Storm (11-4, 1-2) with 26 points.

Armand Nunez, who gave Camas a 56-54 lead with a 3-point shot with 48 seconds remaining, the Papermakers (6-9, 2-1) first lead of the second half, had 30 points. It came via 10 3-pointers.

Clemmer has 11 points for the Papermakers and a couple key blocks late.

Skyview led 31-27 at the half. The second half was delayed for roughly 30 minutes for a medical emergency when a fan fainted on their way toward the lobby.
