Boys basketball: Seton Catholic 79, Columbia-White Salmon 31

SETON CATHOLIC 79, COLUMBIA 31 — Kellen Ball poured in 20 points to lead the Cougars to the 1A Trico League home win.

Andrew Olson added 11 points and Nolan Hannam finished with 10 as standout senior Xavian Rushing missed the game with injury.

“It was a good bounceback,” coach Kris Small said. The Cougars (6-6, 1-1) were coming off a heartbreaking loss to La Center.

Davis Koester paced the Bruins (2-10, 0-2) with nine points.
