Brea Viratos was appointed the CEO of Vancouver dietary supplement manufacturer Columbia Nutritional. She previously was the company’s chief operations officer. She joined the company in 2018, moving to director of quality and vice president of quality. Viratos received a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from Southern Oregon University and a master’s degree in technology management from Portland State University. Marvin McCord, president of McCord’s Vancouver Toyota, received the TIME Dealer of the Year award. He was one of 41 dealer nominees from across the country who will be honored at the 104th annual National Automobile Dealers Association Show held virtually Feb. 9-11. McCord, 85, was one of 41 dealers nominated out of more than 16,000 across the nation. He serves on the board of the Washington State Auto Dealers Association, supports the Pink Lemonade Project, Vancouver Police Activities League among other organizations. A panel from the Tauber Institute for Global Operations at the University of Michigan select the Dealer of the Year, who will receive $10,000 to give to charity.

Vancouver Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle was appointed by Gov. Jay inslee to serve a four-year term on the state Freight Mobility Strategic Investment Board. The 12-member board is responsible for creating a coordinated state program to facilitate freight movement between local, national and international markets, as well as looking for solutions to lessen the impact of freight movement on Washington communities. McEnerny-Ogle will attend her first meeting virtually Jan. 15. Learn more about the board at fmsib.wa.gov.
