Letter: White House sets bad example

Even though Trump hasn’t attended any COVID task force meetings in months, he is taking credit for project Warp Speed in getting vaccines available. Looks like the British beat Trump’s Warp Speed by about a week.

White House officials were slated to get early access even though they have set a bad example by not taking rational precautions like mask wearing or avoiding having large gatherings. They will be regular citizens Jan. 20; let them get in line like the rest of us.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
