Neighbors rescue dog from small house fire in Rose Village

Neighbors pulled a small dog from a Rose Village home Tuesday before fire personnel extinguished a kitchen blaze, according to the Vancouver Fire Department.

Next-door neighbors noticed smoke around 1:30 p.m. coming from the one-story house at 3101 S St. They called 911 and rescued the dog before firefighters arrived, according to a fire department press release.
