Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler would be an outstanding choice to replace outgoing Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke. Her two recent stunning legislative accomplishments, the Tribal Distillery and Sea Lion Euthanasia laws show us she has the chops for this important job and might even do slightly better than her former right-wing cohort in congress, Mr. Zinke. I am certain she could keep our national parks closed even longer than President Trump has his sights set on, because she is from the same scorched-earth Wild West temperament as her party’s leader and it will save the taxpayers even more money. Go Jaime! Emphasis on GO.
