Isaiah Sampson hit a deep 3-pointer just inside the half court line at the buzzer to give Camas a three-point win, 39-36, over McMinnville (Ore.).

Shane Jamison took a charge with two seconds left and the score tied to set up the game-winner.

Sampson finished with a team-high 11 points — all in the second half — in an otherwise low-scoring affair in shot clock-less Oregon.

“There wasn’t any intentional stalling,” Camas coach Ryan Josephson said. “Both teams were running tough zone defenses. Niether team could score.”

In what was a back-and-forth game, McMinnville took a five-point lead into the half when Luke Arzner was fouled hitting a corner three in the final seconds, and hit the free throw.

“We had more composure in the second half,” Josephson said.

All of McMinnville’s scoring came from three players. Parker Spence had 12, Arzner had 12 and Jarrett Boumann pitched in four.
