The Clark College baseball coaching staff has been busy adding talent for the 2020 season.

The team announced last week the signing of left-handed pitcher Makaio Bruchal from St. Louis High School in Honolulu.

“Anytime you can get a left handed guy who has some velocity and attacks the strike zone you feel fortunate,” Clark coach Mark Magdaleno said in statement on clarkpenguins.com. “On top of that, this kid comes from school where they understand the work it takes to compete in big games.”

The Penguins also signed this month left-hitting outfielder Shane Kalikopono de la Cruz of Honolulu; outfielder Cooper Martineau from Beaverton, Ore.; infielder Keanu Kalaola from Kapolei, Hawaii; and left-handed pitcher Titus Oien from Skyview High School.
