Letter: Democrats abuse power

By William Schweers, Ridgefield

While watching the impeachment proceedings, one couldn’t help but see the hate in the eyes of the Democrats taking part. Looking back to the 1870s with the South losing the Civil War, the Democrats formed what was called The White League (1874) in Louisiana described as The Military Arm of the Democratic Party with the purpose of evicting the Republican Party.

The hate continues through time as the Democrats’ aim is to have complete control of the country and raise hell when they lose. Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., was caught making false statements and charges. Nancy Pelosi is losing control of her party as many are concerned about losing their seats in the House with some flipping over to the Republican Party. Maybe they will be brought up on charges of abuse of power when this is over.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
