Letter: Support school bonds

By Kristin Peters, Brush Prairie
Published: January 23, 2018, 6:00am

On Feb. 13, voters have an opportunity to support our youngest community members and the professionals who work to educate them with a “yes” vote on the Evergreen and Battle Ground school district bond levies. Recently a school administrator shared with me that her greatest challenge was finding ways to help her staff feel successful at a time when the demands placed on teachers and support staff is immense.

I encourage you to do your part by casting a “yes” vote on Feb. 13. Every vote counts!

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
