Girls basketball: Prairie 84, Hudson’s Bay 13

Mallory Williams scored 17 points and Prairie hit 16 3s as a team to breeze past Hudson’s Bay.

The Falcons had 20 steals on the night and assisted on 23 of their 31 made field goals.

“We had a great defensive effort,” Prairie coach Hala Corral said.

Prairie led by 33 at half.

Brooke Walling added 15 points and Allison Corral had 13 for the Falcons.

Walling is now 16 points away from the 1,000-career point landmark.

Kamelai Powell led Bay with nine points.
