Letter: Support Evergreen school bond

By Bill Maier, Vancouver
Published: January 10, 2018, 6:00am

For parents with students in Evergreen Public Schools, a “yes” vote is a “no-brainer.” This bond measure will ensure safe, secure, and efficient schools for all students and provide improvements for every school.

For citizens without children in school, the bond measure will protect the investment you have made with your school taxes by providing for necessary maintenance and upgrading of facilities. It will protect and/or enhance the value of your property by ensuring a quality school district.

Finally, this bond measure will not increase your taxes. Please vote yes!

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
