Girls basketball: Washougal 79, Hockinson 67

It was a milestone night for Washougal’s Beyonce Bea, who eclipsed 1,000 career points and 600 career rebounds in a 79-67 win over Hockinson in a Class 2A Greater St. Helens League girls basketball game Wednesday.

Bea scored 33 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, five steals and four blocked shots. She connected on 11 of 16 shots from the floor for the Panthers.

Skylar Bea added 15 points and eight rebounds, and McKinley Stotts had nine points and five rebounds.

Grace Russell led Hockinosn with 25 points and Emma Dietel added 15 points.
