DiscoverOrg, the Vancouver market intelligence company, has raised $140,500 in cash donations and thousands of pounds of supplies for the Evergreen Public Schools’ Family & Community Resource Center Program.

This is the largest-ever charitable donation for the program, which helps needy students and their families, DiscoverOrg said in a news release. Last year, DiscoverOrg raised $79,000. In 2016, the company raised $40,000.

Evergreen Public Schools enrolls nearly 26,000 students in Vancouver. More than 12,000 students are enrolled in the Free/Reduced Meal Program, and more than 1,000 students are considered to “lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence” according to the federal McKinney-Vento law.

DiscoverOrg’s donation includes a matching cash donation from DiscoverOrg CEO Henry Schuck. In addition, DiscoverOrg employees gathered 384 winter coats, 49,891 diapers, 119 pairs of shoes, along with laundry detergent, toothbrushes and other essentials.
