Washougal alliance honors two for supporting local art scene

Washougal — The Washougal Arts and Culture Alliance’s Celebration of Art brought out nearly 40 people Nov. 3 to 54-40 Brewing. Joyce Lindsay, an alliance board member and former city councilor, and Travis London, a local muralist, were both honored at the ceremony. London was recognized for his public art work in Washougal and Camas, while Lindsay was honored for her dedication and determination in bringing high quality public art to Washougal. Each was presented a framed 2018 Washougal Art Festival poster signed with a personal message of thanks from poster artist Wilson Cady.
