Girls basketball: Columbia River 39, La Center 28

Erin Baker scored 10 points and Jordan Ryan added seven as Columbia River won a defensive battle at La Center.

The Chieftains led 6-1 after one quarter and 17-8 at halftime.

Taylor Stephens paced La Center with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
