Girls basketball: Seton Catholic 41, King’s Way Christian 36

Tiana Scruggs scored eight of her 15 points in the fourth quarter as Seton Catholic rallied to win its Trico League opener on the road.

The Cougars trailed 31-25 before allowing just five points in the fourth quarter.

“Their coach did a nice job of mixing up their defenses in the fourth quarter,” King’s Way coach Anthony Roberts said.

Nami Nsubuga had 10 points and 12 rebounds for Seton Catholic (6-1, 1-0).

MacKenzie Ellertson scored 23 points to lead King’s Way (3-4, 0-1).
