2 arrested in shooting of Seattle teacher

SEATTLE — Two people have been arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of a teacher in downtown Seattle.

KING-TV reported that police arrested a 55-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman Friday. The woman was booked into jail on rendering criminal assistance charges and the man was arrested on investigation of murder.

The victim, Brent McDonald, was a popular Seattle youth mentor and art teacher who worked at the nonprofit group Coyote Central.

The motive for the Dec. 13 shooting is unknown.
