Boys basketball: Washougal 55, Stevenson 44

Collin Prangley had 15 points, Carson Adams added 11, and the Washougal Panthers picked up their first win of the season.

Coach Malcolm Estes called it the best game of the season, as the Panthers got contributions from up and down the lineup. He noted the defensive play of Bailey Deming, Jake Klackner, and Mitchell Leon.

Washougal held Stevenson to five points in the third quarter, going from a one-point lead to a nine-point advantage.

Adams also had nine rebounds.

Austin Brannan led Stevenson with 16 points.
