Gifford Pinchot snow report 12/8

Mount St. Helens — Two inches of snow at Cougar Sno-Park and 12 inches at Marble Mountain Sno-Park.

At June Lake, elevation 3,440 feet, the snow depth is about 48 inches.

Upper Wind River — Koshko, McClellan Meadows and Oldman Pass sno-parks have about 10 inches of snow. Trail grooming has not started.

Lone Butte Sno-Park has 24 to 36 inches of snow. Grooming is anticipated to begin in mid-December.

At Surprise Lakes, elevation 4,500 feet, there are 48 inches of snow.

Mount Adams — Four inches of new snow and 8 inches total at Atkisson and Flattop sno-parks. No grooming yet, but possible by next week if additional snow falls.

Pineside Sno-Park has 6 to 8 inches of snow. SnowKing Sno-Park has 10 inches of snow. Trails not yet groomed at either location. Smith Butte Sno-Park is closed due to logging.
