Boys basketball: Columbia River 58, Tumwater 47

Joey Bean scored 22 points to lead Columbia River’s in Tuesday’s non-league win against Tumwater.

The difference in the game was a 21-5 second quarter, which was keyed by active River defense.

Turnovers were a problem for Tumwater in the second quarter and they were never able to recover.

Andrew Vickers chipped in 11 points for the Chieftans.
