Washington and Oregon officials will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Vancouver to adopt spring chinook salmon fishing regulations for the Columbia River.

The session will be at the Clark Regional Wastewater District, 8000 N.E. 52nd Court.

A spring chinook commercial fishing plan for the lower Columbia will be reviewed.

The states also are expected to adopt a limited commercial smelt fishery in the lower Columbia and a limited sport smelt fishery in the lower Cowlitz River.
