MOSES LAKE — A 22-year-old man was killed early Sunday after a dispute in the drive-through at a Moses Lake Jack in the Box.

The Columbia Basin Herald reported that 34-year-old Martha Mejia was booked into jail for investigation of first-degree murder and driving under the influence. Court records show Mejia is being held without bail.

Officials at the Grant County Coroner’s Office said they could not release the cause of death of Christian Guerra. Employees at the restaurant told KREM-TV that Guerra was shot.

The coroner’s office says an autopsy will be performed today. Employees at the restaurant said the incident may have been sparked by a dispute in the drive-through lane, where one driver cut off another.
