Girls basketball: Battle Ground 55, Heritage 28

The visiting Tigers took control in the first quarter, outscoring the Timberwolves 23-3.

Jossilyn Blackman scored 18 points and Emily Griffith 13 to lead Battle Ground.

Heritage was limited to seven field goals in the game. Amy Gould scored 10 points for the Timberwolves.
