Deadline to register to vote approaching

The last day to submit a mail-in voter registration form to vote in February’s special election is Jan. 11.

Mail-in voter registration forms must be postmarked by that day. Potential voters can also register online by midnight that day at www.clarkvotes.org.

Currently registered voters who have moved can submit mail-in address change forms postmarked by Jan. 11, or can change their address online by midnight of that day. The Clark County Elections Office will also accept address changes made by telephone or in person.

Those who are not currently registered to vote in Washington may register to vote by appearing in person by Feb. 1 at the Clark County Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St., Vancouver.

Voters in the Ridgefield School District, La Center School District, Evergreen Public Schools district, Vancouver Public Schools district, Hockinson School District, Green Mountain School District and Camas School District will receive ballots for the Feb. 9 election.
