Letter: Women in combat engender liability

President Obama is considering sending women into combat. I strongly oppose sending women into combat for the following reasons:
1. A woman is built differently than a man. On the average, she is smaller and does not have the upper-body strength that a man has. Hand-to-hand combat with the enemy or carrying a man off the battlefield would be difficult.
