Six Boy Scouts from the Fort Vancouver District successfully passed their Eagle Scout board of review during October and November and have been advanced to the rank of Eagle Scout.
Thomas Goodwin of Boy Scout Venture Crew 104 built bat boxes for his Eagle Scout project. Goodwin, a 17-year-old senior at Skyview High School, is a son of Brad and Peggy Goodwin.
Bryce Hanson, a senior at Prairie High School, is a member of Boy Scout Troop 770 and a son of Jeff and Robyn Hanson. He renovated a storage shed and plant area for the Columbia Slough Watershed for his project. Hanson is 18.
David Keller Jr. of Boy Scout Varsity Team 491 refurbished the observation deck at the fish hatchery at Columbia Springs for his Eagle project. David, 15, is a son of David and Rachel Keller. He is a sophomore at Heritage High School.
