In a strange, strange game of statistics, the Ridgefield Spudders held their opponent to 17 percent shooting from the floor — and lost.

The Spudders did not help their cause by only shooting 20 percent from the floor.

R.A. Long won it at the line, connecting on 20 of 26 free throws in the game, including 14 of 16 in the fourth quarter.

Jessica Shaffer led Ridgefield with 12 points.
