Last Gunfighter wins Evening Attire Stakes

NEW YORK (AP) — Last Gunfighter stretched his winning streak to four, beating Isn’t He Perfect by a half length on Saturday in the $73,500 Evening Attire Stakes at Aqueduct.

Irad Ortiz, Jr. was aboard for his third win of the day. Ortiz replaced Ramon Dominguez, who suffered a fractured skull in a spill on Friday.

Trained by Chad Brown, Last Gunfighter ran the 1 1-16 miles in 1:43.54, paying $4, $2.40 and $2.10 as the even-money favorite.

Isn’t He Perfect returned $3.20 and $2.10 while Arlo paid $2.10.
