For Erin Tully, the path to the Clark County Wrestling Championships began years ago is a completely different type of venue.
“I did martial arts for a long time,” said the Camas High School junior, who took up wrestling as a freshman. “Jujutsu helped before this. Now I just work really hard.”
Tully captured the girls 118-pound title Saturday at the Clark County Wrestling Championships at Skyview High School, pinning Baylee Wright of Ridgefield in 5:17.
“Once I had her down, I pretty much knew what to do,” Tully said. “She was good. She didn’t turn over easy.”
