Josh Wall had 13 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter to rally Kalama to a Trico League victory.

“We had a good third quarter and were up six going into the fourth,” Woodland coach Aaron Shepherd said. “Then we just missed some opportunities, and they hit a lot of tough shots. … we played some solid defense, but they hit their shots.”

Troy Flanagan had 19 points and Harley Bean added 15 for the Beavers.

“I told my kids that (Kalama) has been blowing everybody out in league, so we should be proud of how we played,” Shepherd said. “It was a tough loss, but a good team effort. And if we play like that the rest of the year, we’ll be a tough team to beat.”
