SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Kicker Billy Cundiff is inactive for the San Francisco 49ers playoff game against Green Bay after being brought in to challenge incumbent David Akers.

Coach Jim Harbaugh said earlier in the week that Akers would be his kicker for Saturday’s game but did not rule out the possibility of dressing two kickers. Akers has missed 13 of 42 field goal attempts this season.

Among the other inactives for the 49ers are defensive linemen Tony Jerod-Eddie and Ian Williams. That could indicate the Niners aren’t worried about the health of starter Justin Smith, who missed the final two games of the regular season with a partially torn left triceps muscle.

Receiver Donald Driver is active for Green Bay after being a healthy scratch last week against Minnesota.
