Boys basketball: Evergreen 54, Skyview 45

A fast start to the second half helped the host Plainsmen separate themselves from the Storm in the Class 4A Greater St. Helens League game.

Leading 22-17 at halftime, Evergreen (6-7, 3-0) outscored Skyview 18-9 during the third quarter to go ahead by 14 points. The Storm (6-7, 0-3) were able to pull within six in the fourth quarter, but no closer.

Robert Franks scored 18 points and Jahmil Johnson 15 to pace the Plainsmen. Keegan Liebelt led the Storm with 10 points. Eleven different players scored for Skyview.
