A Vancouver truck driver was involved in a serious injury crash south of Oregon City early Friday morning.
Troy Huston, 45, of Vancouver was driving a 2008 Freightliner truck pulling a semi-trailer loaded with hazardous chemicals south on Highway 213 just before 8 a.m. when a Toyota Camry crossed the center line and collided with the truck, according to Oregon State Police Lt. Gregg Hastings.
The Toyota came to rest on its wheels in a ditch; the truck and trailer came to rest on the highway, partially blocking traffic.
The driver of the Toyota, Michael Jason Warn, 25, of Taft, Ore., was extricated from the car and transported to Oregon Health & Science University with serious but not life-threatening injuries. Huston was not injured.
