Trout stocked in Columbia Gorge lakes

Five lakes in Skamania and Klickitat County were stocked with trout this week by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.

In Skamania County, Little Ash Lake west of Stevenson received 35 large broodstock rainbow trout ranging from 5 to 10 pounds, while Tunnel Lake got 85 of the big fish.

In Klickitat County, Rowland Lake east of Bingen got 103 broodstock rainbow plus 3,000 catchable-size rainbow, Maryhill Pond got 500 catchables and Spearfish Lake near The Dalles Dam received 1,800 catchable trout.
