PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Eagles have signed defensive end Everette Brown and cornerback Trevard Lindley to two-year contracts.

Brown played in 31 career games with Carolina and San Diego Chargers from 2009-11. He had six sacks, three forced fumbles and one interception. Brown was released by Detroit before the 2012 season and sat out the year.

Lindley, a fourth-round draft choice by the Eagles in 2010, played 11 games as a rookie. He wasn’t on an NFL roster the last two seasons.

The Eagles, who fired coach Andy Reid on Monday, went 4-12 this season.
