A man and woman escaped injury after their pickup slid off of the icy roadway in the 3400 block of Northwest 199th Street near Ridgefield on Wednesday morning.

The road was blocked for about an hour after the crash, which was reported at 11 a.m., as crews from the Clark County Fire & Rescue worked to right the vehicle.

Although the roads are mostly clear, Battalion Chief Tim Dawdy said that motorists should be cautious because there is still snow and ice in shaded areas of roadways.
