Civic leadership program taking applicants for 2015

Leadership Clark County, a nonprofit, non-partisan civic leadership development program, is accepting early candidates applications for its class of 2015.

A free information session about the program will be 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 14 at Educational Services District 112 offices, 2500 N.E. 65th Ave., Vancouver.

The free session is an opportunity for candidates to ask questions and hear alumni talk about their experiences. Those interested are asked to sign up by Jan. 10 at director@leadershipclarkcounty.com or 360-567-1085.

Candidates submitting applications prior to Feb. 14 will receive a $50 discount off the $100 application fee and priority consideration for acceptance into the program.

Candidates may apply through regular enrollment until April 30.

Participants are selected through a competitive application process.
