The uniforms worn by NBA teams on Christmas Day deserve a lump of coal.

The skin-tight short-sleeved shirts just looked weird when paired with the baggy shorts.

Perhaps the best indictment came from Blazers center Robin Lopez, who tweeted: “Needs to be a mass burning of these sleeved nba jerseys. Also, no to the grey lakers logo. Looks like the real jerseys are in the wash…”

Former All-Pro cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha will retire after 11 years in the NFL.

Asomugha earned three Pro Bowl selections in eight seasons in Oakland and was a first-team All-Pro in 2008 and 2010.

Asomugha struggled after joining Philadelphia as a high-profile free agent in 2011. After two seasons with the Eagles, Asomugha played three games with San Francisco this season before being cut last month.

It shows just how quickly NFL careers can go from red-hot to over.

Welcome to recruiting in 2013.

Last week, three-star quarterback recruit Jalen Greene switched his commitment from Boise State to Washington to follow new UW coach Chris Petersen.

On Sunday, Greene reportedly flipped again, committing to Steve Sarkisian and Southern California.

Anyone else getting dizzy from all this flipping?
