Colgate rolls past D-III Ursinus, 78-52

HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) — Ethan Jacobs scored 11 points and Clayton Graham matched that total off the bench as Colgate rolled to a 78-52 win over Div. III Ursinus Sunday.

Back-to-back 3-pointers by Murphy Burnatowski and Jacobs put Colgate in the lead for good four minutes into the game and the Raiders built a 37-25 lead by halftime.

Burnatowski, the Raiders’ (6-4) leading scorer averaging 14.4 points per game, finished with 10. A dozen players figured in the scoring for Colgate and 15 saw playing time.

Graham was perfect, hitting all five field goal attempts and his lone free throw while grabbing five rebounds.

Colgate, which leads the nation in 3-point shots attempted, launched 31 shots from long-range, converting nine.

Ryan Adams led the Bears with 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field and grabbed 11 rebounds. Jesse Krasna added another 14 points.

The loss was the sixth straight for Ursinus (1-8).
