VAL D’ISERE, France (AP) — The third World Cup downhill training session at Val d’Isere was canceled Friday because of poor weather conditions.

The International Ski Federation says the jury made the decision because of fresh snow on top and warmer temperatures lower down the hill.

The race is scheduled for Saturday, with a giant slalom on Sunday.
