B.G. district students to be released early Friday

Students in grades 1 through 12 in Battle Ground Public Schools will be released 2 hours and 15 minutes early on Friday so that staff members can receive professional development with Common Core Standards.

Students at Battle Ground and Prairie high schools will be released at 12:15 p.m.

Tukes Valley Middle School students will be released at 12:25 p.m. Students at Chief Umtuch, Laurin, Pleasant Valley and Summit View middle schools will be released at 12:30 p.m.

Students at Maple Grove K-8 School will be released at 1:05 p.m. Amboy Middle School, Glenwood Heights Primary and Pleasant Valley Primary students will be released at 1:15 p.m. Students at Captain Strong Primary, Daybreak Primary, Daybreak Middle and Tukes Valley Primary will be released at 1:25 p.m.

Yacolt Primary students will be released at 1:35 p.m.

Both Prairie High School and Yacolt Primary will not have preschool Friday. The following programs will have morning preschool, but no afternoon preschool: Captain Strong Preschool, Daybreak Preschool, Maple Grove Preschool and Tukes Valley Preschool.
