DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) — Tyler Kalinoski recorded 23 points and Tom Droney 18, as Davidson routed Johnson & Wales (NC) 105-63 on Saturday night.

Davidson (4-5) doubled-up on Division III Johnson and Wales at halftime, leading 52-26, in a half that included seven Davidson steals; a plus-seven turnover ratio and Davidson shooting 56 percent from the floor compared to Johnson & Wales 33 percent.

Johnson & Wales was able to hang for the first five minutes trailing only 13-11 until Davidson’s Division I talent level overwhelmed J&W and the rout began, despite Davidson’s leading scorer De’Mon Brooks looking on from the bench with a knee injury.

Davidson cleared the bench in the effort with 11 Wildcats scoring and J&W was able to get as close as 17 in the second before Davidson pushed it back to 42 points at the buzzer.

DeQuincey Bennett scored 17 and Kindrick Anderson 15 for J&W.
