Vancouver-based Nautilus Inc. said Friday that it expects to report net sales of about $60.3 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 2011. That’s up 12 percent from the same three-month period in 2010.

For all of 2011, the company, which makes fitness equipment, said it expects to report net sales of $180.7 million, up 7 percent from 2010.

“We’re very pleased to see strong sales growth in the fourth quarter of 2011 driven by increased demand in both our direct and retail businesses,” Bruce Cazenave, CEO of Nautilus, said in a news release.

The company plans to release its full financial report for the quarter and year ended Dec. 31, 2011, in March.
