AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) — Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade will miss his sixth consecutive game with a sprained right ankle, sitting out Wednesday night’s matchup against the Detroit Pistons.
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra says Wade is still day-to-day. He missed his eighth game of the season overall Tuesday night against Cleveland.
Detroit forward Tayshaun Prince will miss the game because of a family matter, and guard Ben Gordon is out with a sore left shoulder.
After facing the Pistons, Miami hosts the New York Knicks on Friday night.
