WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Darryl Partin scored all 22 of his points in the second half as Boston University defeated Hartford 65-46 Sunday.
The victory was the sixth in a row for the Terriers (10-11, 6-1), who are tied atop the America East Conference with Stony Brook.
Boston University led 19-13 after a first half in which it shot just 29.2 percent (7 of 24). The Hawks (4-15, 4-3), who had won four of their last five games, shot even more poorly, making 20.8 percent (5 of 24).
The Terriers turned it around in the second half, shooting 62.5 percent (15 of 24). Leading 26-19, they ran off 14 consecutive points, the last nine on three 3-pointers by Partin, to go ahead 40-19 with 13:52 remaining.
